The James Terry Gardiner papers include correspondence, photographs, business papers, notebooks, maps and architectural drawings by Gardiner and his family. A majority of the collection relates to Gardiner's activities as Director of the N.Y. State Survey. The family papers relate to Gardiner's grandfather Seth Terry, his wife Ann Grew Terry, and Daniel Gardiner, James Terry's father.
